Registration as an Elico member: We process your name, address, telephone number, email address and date of birth to send you newsletters and SMS with customer benefits, offers and information. We may also contact you by telephone for customer benefits, offers and information. The processing is based on your consent.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OTHERS
We will not share your personal information with others unless there is a legal basis for such disclosure. Examples of such basis would typically be your express consent or a legal basis that requires us to disclose the information.
When you have consented to receive personalized offers and marketing from Elico via SMS, email, internet and social media, Elico will disclose personal data that is processed for this purpose to other companies/firms.
Elico uses data processors to process personal data on our behalf. In such cases, we have entered into agreements with the data processors to ensure information security at all stages of the processing. We currently use the following data processors:
Klavyio. Contact information, email or telephone – used when sending newsletters and campaigns.
Google Analytics is used to see, among other things, where our users come from, how often they visit our site and where the traffic comes from.
All of these companies have strict procedures and follow the privacy rules in the EU/EEA, and for the supplier responsible for sending emails, they are subject to Privacy Shield as they are registered in the USA. This means that your personal data is just as well protected with our supplier as when processed in the EU/EEA.
COMPLAINTS
You are under no obligation to provide Elico with your personal data, but in order to receive goods and services from Elico as described under point 1, processing of your personal data is necessary.
If you believe that our processing of your personal data does not match what we have described or that we are in other ways violating the Privacy Act, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
